My Surprise From My Day off In Boston
As I had mentioned, I took a nice relaxing day off a few Saturdays ago and went to Boston. One of my favorite places to shop is Sephora to get some makeup and body washes. What I was looking for that day was some special lip gloss/plumper from Philosophy. The associate told me I must be looking for an old product and she never heard of it. Being a Philosophy expert, I knew I was correct, since I am on the website quite often, but I did not have time to argue as I noticed the long line at check out. I gathered what I needed and left. The next day I decided to check the website and there was the lip trio. Just for the heck of it, I sent an email and asked if this was an online item only. They replied and said no and asked why. I explained the situation, and next thing you I know I received a lovely email from an Andrea at the store I shopped apologizing for the mistake. She admitted the associate was incorrect, they no longer had the product, but it was available in stores. She invited me back in for a makeover, and skin care treatment and offered me a $25 gift card on my next visit. I told her it was ok, I lived quite a distance and was not sure when my next visit would be. I thanked her for the email. Today, UPS came with a box from Andrea, with a beautiful red bag FILLED with Sephora goodies, and a $25 gift card!!! She still said to drop her an email when I am in the area again for my special treatment.
KUDOS to Sephora for their wonderful Customer Service! She said she appreciated my comments. I sent her an email thanking her for going above and beyond to satisfy a customer.

I’m glad that you had a good day too. That’s great that they invited you back for a makeover. There are some really helpful customer service reps out there. There can be some nasty ones, but it’s good to know that there are some nice ones too.
