I got this in my email today. You can send a a free Hallmark Card for Mother’s Day to send to anyone you like! I thought I would share this with my readers. You choose the card to send, and personalize it, and they will put the stamp on and mail it. What a great idea. It is quick and easy, and a nice freebie to make someones day next on Mother’s Day! I am sending mine to my Mom, even though I will see her, because it will be nice for her to get something in the mail ahead of time.

So do something fun for someone in your life, and give them a surprise in the mail for free. http://www.hallmark.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/home|10001|10051|-1

Have been Cutting back!

I cut back even more on working this past weekend! Worked two hours on Saturday and just a few on Sunday. My husband wants me to really cut back. He knows I enjoy my jobs, but wants me to focus more on leisure time since the weather is nice. I am trying to figure out a schedule and present it to the people I work with. I have already told one place I needed to work less, as the point of quitting my full-time job was to relax and enjoy life.

I have to admit I have been taking the extra money and doing quite a bit of spending. Let’s see, I bought a new bed, a generator (nothing luxurious but I want power ALL OF THE TIME - this is not a small generator it is a KEEP YOUR HOUSE RUNNING COMPLETELY when your lose power generator!) We lost power once too many times out here where I live. Next I want water filter system, I noticed my tea pots were always stained, and when I used the filtered water from the fridge it did not happen - sooo I was thinking I brush my teeth with that water, I shower in it, YUCK! Water system is next! Along with furniture, a larger TV to do my Wii Fit, and of course there are my many vacations! So I will have to start settling down on the spending if I cut my hours dratically, but you have to give in take when you control your work hours!

Shopping Assistant Part III

Published by cindy23 under Working From Home Edit This

The training went great for the new Shopping Assistant job, and it looks really fun. I did it for a little while today. Right now I am working my two regular jobs, and my seasonal jobs, so I am doing my best to squeeze it in. It will be easy to do when my seasonal job ends! The problem is with all the great deals I am finding for every else, I am going to want to keep the deals for myself. LOL

I like the fact that the job can be done at any time of the day without a set schedule! It is very flexible. My kind of gig. Great for a few extra bucks a week and not stressful. I am going to give it a chance, and see if I can squeeze it in every week. Hopefully I won’t spend more money than I make.

Heritage Web Solutions has freelance work from home positions available in Content Writing, Web Design and PHP. The pay varies for each position you apply for and you need to send them a portfolio of your work to apply. They say they have plenty of work to keep people busy!

It says they are ranked #1 of hosting companies in the nation, and handle hudreds of accounts per month. The have been in the business over seven years, but it is the first I have heard of this position.

To apply for writing you have to go through an interview and writing test first! I guess they mean business. It says they are looking for creativity, spelling, grammar, style, consistency, and the use of keywords.

Shopping Assistant Part II

Published by cindy23 under Working From Home Edit This

I posted a few days ago about a Shopping Assistant Opportunity I had found online recently. I decided for fun to take the test and lo and behold I was offered to partake in the training for the position. Here is my previous post http://rewardsofworkingfromhome.today.com/2009/04/06/shopping-assistant-from-home/

I am going to try out the training as it seems like a fun and interesting position and it may not conflict with my regular jobs!  The premise is finding good deals for people who are searching online for a particular product. I love to shop, and am always hunting down items online. I think I will love the challenge of this. You are paid for every search, and there are bonuses for positive feedback. You have to be able to do 100 searches per week. According to the email I received there is plenty of work to go around. You can cash out as soon as your account hits $20 (which is less than 100 searches).

I will keep everyone posted on how this opportunity pans out.
