Scan What You Buy, Earn Points, Get Free Stuff!

Neilsen Home Scan sends you a hand held scanner for you to scan the products you buy each week. You then download the information into your computer and send it off to them.  Sometimes surveys pop up, and some weeks they give you double points for your efforts. I have been doing it for about ten months now and have a good amount of points. I have yet to cash out for any prizes, as prices are more worthwhile with more points. There are TVs, Dooney and Bourke pocketbooks, and Guitar Hero games at the higher levels. At the level I am at now, I could get a full Calphalon bakeware set, or a nice blender. I plan to save up longer. I was skeptical at first thinking it was going to be a pain, but my husband and I have it down to a science when we come home from shopping, and we are now masters at scanning and putting away our groceries.

I’m a Homescan member too. Hubby now holds on to every receipt so I can send in all of his purchases.

Hi Cindy.. “Mother beaver” here :) I just wanted to let you know that after seeing your response on my forum post I naturally clicked to check out your blogs. I am thoroughly impressed with the amount of information you have to offer on legitimate work from home opportunities! I have checked out most of them and even applied for a few. Even if nothing becomes of them at least, with your help, I have found real work opportunities to apply for instead of just finding the endless and obvious scam websites when surfing the web. Thank you so much for your hard work, research and information. And in case none of these pan out for me, please keep the information coming ;)
    Great Job!

This sounds interesting. I have heard about homescan, but I wasn’t sure what it was about. Thanks for the link. :)

But this is an interesting thing to do as I guess now all the expenditures are well managed easily then before!
