This looks like another great position similar to Lionbridge and the Google Quality Rater jobs I posted awhile back. You will be rating the use of search engines on the internet and reporting back to the company.
Here are some of the basic requirements that are pretty cut and dry..
Equipment Requirements
- High speed internet access (Cable Modem, DSL, etc.)
- A personal computer running Mozilla’s Firefox web browser, version 3 or higher
- Up to date anti-virus and anti-spyware software
Basic Skill Requirements
- Excellent web research skills and analytical abilities
- Excellent comprehension and written communication skills
- Many Leapforce At Home agent assignments require fluency in a language other than English. For these assignments, agents will be required to pass a language assessment exam

These search evaluator positions seem to be quite popular at the moment. Companies are wanting to fine tune their searches for those on the internet. Everyone wants to be on top these days even the search engines. It does not say who you will be working for on this one. If I was not tied up right now I would not hesitant to apply for this. I just do not want to waste a companies time on something that I really do not have the time to put my heart and soul into right now. I would find this very interesting though. I may apply, and if accepted ask to be kept in mind for future employment opportunities. It is good to have extra jobs lined up!

I found this ad on Career-Builder and it sounded pretty good for someone who needs part-time work or maybe a full-time job to get them by. I was a bit confused by the ad however. It said you will work from home, and that the client is in Oregon, but it did not specify if you needed to live in Oregon or not. As I have said in the past, if you are interested and are serious about working at home, you should always apply. You never know if you may be a right fit, or if this company may hire in your area in the future. The ad does mention you have to have proven call center experience. Think about any work you have had in the past. Have you done anything that would qualify as call center experience? The rest of the qualifications are not too bad. This position does require a credit and background check.
The client is called Spherion, is want to do some research on the company.

Before I was ever working from home, I had mentioned I was doing quite a few product evaluations and suddenly they are rolling in again fast and furious. I must be on quite the mailing list somewhere because things come in the mail all the time. Two weeks ago I received a big box from Jergens saying I was selected as one of their Ambassadors. They sent me a nice large bottle of lotion and ten three-pack samples with coupons to hand out to friends.
I have nine rolls of toilet paper coming from another company! That is three for each bathroom! Good thing, I am running low!
From BZZ Agent I have four things on the way. http://www.bzzagent.com/
Pledge Fabric Sweeper, which I already received. It is basically a lint brush for your furniture. I have two dogs so it is pretty cool, and it was free. The other three things are Glade Sense and Spray, which I am guessing is one of those air fresheners that you either plug in or is battery operated. The Fragrance Collection by Glade, it sounds by the description that this will also make my home smell nice. Last, and my favorite - Neutrogena Cosmetics! I am getting some free makeup!
My friends love getting free samples from me! There are always coupons and samples awaiting for them when they visit me. It is one of the first things the girls at my salon ask me when I walk in the door “anything good for us today?”
If you are not part of BZZ check it out, I bet you will have many new friends!

This sounding like an interesting and helpful webinar, that is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3 from 12:00 PM to 1:oo PM eastern time. It will be great for anyone getting started working from home, or anyone that needs some advice on knowing how to spot a work from home job scam. There are many clues to fake work from job ads, such as the obvious “if is sounds to good to be true, it usually is.” If the employer does not ask for your resume, or does not ask you to fill out an application that is a real red flag.
A legitimate work from home job that pays decent money is going to ask for a resume, or ask you to fill out an application, and ask you to do a fair amount of work. You will not be making $50,000 a year stuffing envelopes or putting crafts together. I also assure you that you will not be watching television all day while working. I will tell you if you schedule your day right, and choose the right jobs you will make great money, and get the time off you need to enjoy your life.
Webinars are pretty easy to attend, you just click on the link the day and time the event is scheduled and you listen in. We use webinars at one of my work at home jobs for question and answer sessions for new employees. We allow them to type in questions and management can answer questions. I think they are a pretty useful tool.

I cannot stress enough how many times I have told people that many work at home jobs are EXACTLY like an office job you apply to. You must treat them the same way. I hear the same thing over and over from people who don’t make it in the work at home field “I don’t hear back from anyone!” Follow through! I suggest you make a spreadsheet of the places you applied to, the date you applied with them, and whether or not you got a response. If they said they are not hiring at the moment, send a follow up email in a couple of months, to see if they hiring at that time. Those who are most aggressive and show interest are going to get the jobs. One of the companies I work for had not been hiring for quite awhile, now we are overwhelmed with business. Some of the people that are being interviewed first are those that contacted US a second or third time.
Keep applying, keep a spreadsheet, and follow up so your name sticks out when it is hiring time again!

I ran across this ad recently. It thought it was a company I had worked for in the past called POR, whose owner had past away and it was starting up again by new owners. I have received emails from them recently about there being work, but they are not in the process of hiring anyone new. This seems to be a new company doing poll surveys via the telephone. From what I have researched you will be an employee and taxes will be taken out your paycheck.
The requirements are…
- Professional Telephone Etiquette
- High Speed Internet
- Phone Line (long distance is NOT required)
Calling hours are between noon and 8 pm and you will be paid by completed calls. Call payment will vary depending on the length of the script. There will also be a thirty minute training for all agents. You will log into their system to make the calls and it will verify how many are completed.
I am still an independent contractor for a similar company, but with my other work have not had any time to put in hours in quite awhile. The questions are always interesting and the people targeted have always been pretty nice. I usually did make money.
If anyone is interested it asks you to contact gregg.christian@gmail.com

It was time to reward myself for all the success I have been having from working from home. Most of the time I use a Dell laptop that I bought in 2005. To be honest I did not start using it to almost two years ago, but it only has eighteen percent of its memory left because of all the different programs I have had to download for my different jobs. My other computer WAS and I stress WAS a desktop in which I cannot even recall the year I bought it. About two weeks ago, my husband went to turn on the desktop, which he uses most of the time and it would not turn on. He then smelled smoke! Not a good sign. I decided I wanted a really nice laptop with a good amount of memory. As I was deciding on wait to purchase my Dell was getting slower and slower, and freezing up quite a bit. I had been asking people for advice, and reading consumer reports online. There are many nice notebooks out there so my head was spinning.
Yesterday I bought a HP Pavilion dv7-1285dx notebook. It is wonderful! It has a nice 17 inch screen, duo processors, 6 GB of memory, built in webam (not sure if I will be using that), and a remote control! A couple weeks ago I bought a HP wireless printer also. I am all set up to work more comfortably then ever.
Anyone working from home, do the best you can to have the best technology possible when the jobs start rolling in. You need to reward yourself for all the hard work you have been doing!
Now I have some great tax deductions for 2010!

I have done these before myself and they are quite easy. The pay is $5 per shop, and the call takes five minutes or less. The online form is pretty simple and depending how fast you can enter it, will take you ten to fifteen minutes. The form is pretty much yes or no questions. You will be speaking to a switchboard operator asking a few questions.
For the month of March you must live near a specific area to do these shops..
Piqua, OH 45356
Lima, OH 45804
Fairview, PA 16415
However, they do these throughout the year and you can live anywhere and make the calls as long as you have free long distance. To be qualified you have to be between 22-60 and have good writing skills. The time frames are usually pretty decent also, usually throughout the day and some weekends.
I suggest if you are interested in doing any in the future to get on their mailing list.

In the last two weeks I have received an email from the survey/product research company Pinecone Research asking me to spread the word that they are recruiting new members. In the past, they made it very difficult to join in. You had to “spot” their banner on the web and click on it to join. I have been a member for at least five years, and when it began they paid $5 for every survey and every once in awhile you will receive some really great new product to test. They have dropped the incentive to $3 per survey and a put your name into a drawing. The products to test still do come, and they are great items. I average about three surveys per month and they take about ten to fifteen minutes to complete. If you do receive a product you will also get paid the $3 to do a follow up survey. The pay via paypal or check - it is up to you. If you choose paypal, you usually receive your payment in one or two days after you take the survey.
It is pretty easy, interesting and you will receive some excellent new products to test before they hit the market. You may help decide what makes it on the store shelf or what will not. For more information here is an email address scott@pineconeresearch.com

Who would have guessed that when you are ordering your pizza at some places you are talking to someone sitting in their own home? It amazed me when I first started looking for work at home jobs how many call center jobs were actually people at home. On the Live Ops website it says you will be taking and processing orders for delivery and carry out orders for various pizza and casual dining restaurants. They prefer people with experience in fast paced order taking, and say the best money making opportunities are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. There is a script, and some upselling is involved.
The next time you call in for a pizza or take out food, listen carefully and see if you hear any noise in the background or not! It just may be someone working from home.

There are also other opportunities listed on the site. http://www.liveops.com/become-agent/current-opp.html#dining
